Overview:
This is an excellent opportunity for a creative and innovative data engineer to join a leading insurance industry software provider as it continues to develop and expand its successful data analytics capability. As a data engineer, you will have the opportunity to be a primary contributor in defining the company's data analytics and product solutions and developing the broader analytic strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- The building of data systems and pipelines
- Evaluating the business needs and objectives of ML/Ops infrastructure
- Preparing data for prescriptive and predictive modeling
- Combining raw information from different sources and exploring ways to enhance data quality and reliability
- Identifying opportunities for data acquisition and developing data tools and programs
- Collaborating with data scientists and architects in the productization of data for the insurance industry
Required Background:
- 2/3 years' experience in a relevant role
- Experience building data pipelines in an agile environment
- Experience with some or all the following - relational databases, Azure, Ml/Ops, SQL, ETL, Python,
- Understanding of statistical modelling, algorithms, data mining and machine learning a plus
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
